PowerCMS Builder and CS6

I'm having some trouble connecting to the databases I'm creating using Dreamweaver CS6. Not sure if that is the issue or not. My old connections for my other sites still work but my new ones keep getting an error. Not only that but when I try to click the finish or done buttons it gets into this loop of dialog windows that I can't cancel out of so I end up having to force quit the app. I've attached the two screenshot of dialog windows that I keep getting. I've tried seating the forums for this issue and I'm not getting any hits.

I've tried a lot of different combinations that are just having zero affect.

the first error means that the server does not support the pconnect function.

you can edit the connection file to use connect instead of pconnect.

for the second problem, Power CMS Builder is not supported on DW CS6, At this time, the only extensions we have that are compatible with DW CS6 are Design Extender, Data Bridge and eCart 5.

If you need to use Power CMS Builder in DW CS6, I would strongly urge you to upgrade to Design Extender which includes Power CMS Builder.

we will be evaluating the stand alone extensions in the coming months for compatibility but with 30 extensions, it will take some time to go through them all.

Correction

Design Extender includes PowerCMS Builder, not Data Bridge. Would hate to see you purchase the wrong product.

So if I upgrade to Design Extender my PowerCMS Builder will work in CS6? Is that what I'm reading? Right now I'm not using eCart or Data Bridge for anything. Right now I just need the PowerCMS Builder to work.

How do I edit the file to not use the connect and where would I find that?

Yes, design extender will be compatible with DW CS6.

you will need to edit the database conenctions file, in the Connections folder.

the last line will look similar to this:

php:
$wadb = mysql_pconnect($hostname_wadb, $username_wadb, $password_wadb) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR);

where wadb is the name of the connection.

change:
$wadb = mysql_pconnect(

and remove the p:
$wadb = mysql_connect(

I've been able to get a tad further but it's still having issues. I removed any Webassist extensions that were in the CS6 Extension Manager and installed the Design Extender. I adjusted the pconnect and removed the (p) but is just rewrites itself back somehow. The site I'm doing this on is GoDaddy where I have a few other sites using the PowerCMS Builder and they still work. What could be different with the databases? I'm attaching the mess of dialog boxes that keep showing up.

I think I need to move this to a support ticket because I have two clients waiting on this from me. Please help me out with this.
