Paypal advanced

Is ecart compatible with Paypal Advanced? This sounds like a great payment solution for me.

If so, what are the steps to editing my checkout information to direct to this product?

No, eCart does not offer support PayPal Advanced.

so my 3 options for Paypal with ecart are (please let me know if my assumptions are incorrect):

express - of which I need a payment gateway established already to process credit cards because this is a paypal payment button only - and it takes me off my website.

standard - which takes me off my website onto Paypal's website and is quite a few steps for the customer to check out

Pro - Keeps the customer on my website, but is $30/month fee and my transaction volume is way too low for this type of expense

That is why Advanced was attractive - it allowed the customer to stay on my site and only cost $5/month.

Will ecart become compatible with Advanced?

Is there some other payment gateway that you are compatible with that has a very low monthly fee and/or transaction only based fee?

Yes, the 3 paypal options are Express, Standard and Pro.

We will likely include paypal advanced in a future upgrade to eCart, but it is not something that we have planned for right now

Last question...

I was told by Webassist that you are going to remove offering the use of Paypal Standard and offer Paypal express in its' stead.

I am going with Paypal standard. Paypal express nor Pro work for my environment.

Will this "removal" affect my ecart? Will I have to alter anything in the future? Or will ecart still support the Paypal standard platform?

PayPal Standard was removed from Power Store, not from eCart.
