Thread began 6/11/2012 9:32 am by russell298997 | Last modified 6/22/2012 12:36 pm by russell298997 | 581 views | 2 replies |

e-cart quick cart format error

have an updateable cart on the site and tried to add a quickcart to the DW template so there was a quick display of cart total etc on all site pages. cant see any other parameters in the quickcart wizard but when i run the page i get

Type mismatch: 'WA_eCart_TotalColumn'

/index.asp, line 247

any idea what i need to do to fix this - and whether i'll get the same error with other fields...?

(code is:

<div class="eC_Clean_Slate_Arial eC_Clean_Slate_Arial_QuickCart">
<form action="<% If(Request.QueryString <> "")Then Response.Write(CStr(Request.ServerVariables("SCRIPT_NAME"))&"?"&Server.HTMLEncode(Request.QueryString)) Else Response.Write(CStr(Request.ServerVariables("SCRIPT_NAME"))) %>" method="post">
<table class="eC_QuickCartHeader" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<td><h3>Quick cart</h3></td>
<td><p class="eC_QuickCartQuantity">: <strong><%=WA_eCart_TotalColumn(EFTCMain, "Quantity")%></strong></p>
<p class="eC_QuickCartTotal">Total: <strong><%=WA_eCart_DisplayMoney(EFTCMain, WA_eCart_GrandTotal(EFTCMain))%></strong></p></td>
<table class="eC_ButtonWrapper" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" >
<td><input name="EFTCMain_View_100" type="image" id="EFTCMain_View_100" onclick="MM_goToURL('plugins/parent','');" src="../WA_eCart/Images/Slate/Btn4_EN_view.gif" alt="View Cart" />
<input type="image" name="EFTCMain_Clear_100" id="EFTCMain_Clear_100" src="../WA_eCart/Images/Slate/Btn4_EN_clear.gif" alt="Clear Cart" />
<input type="image" name="EFTCMain_Checkout" id="EFTCMain_Checkout" src="../WA_eCart/Images/Slate/Btn4_EN_checkout.gif" alt="Checkout" /></td>

The quick cart cannot be added to the template, this will not work.

You will need to add an editable region to the template for the quick cart,

then add the quick cart to each page in the editable region.
