Will PowerStore calculate shipping using Paypal Standard

I'm setting up the PowerStore 4.5.3. Will it calculate shipping rates with USPS if I'm only using Paypal Standard? or do I need to have Paypal Payments Pro?

Yes, Power Store can use USPS Shipping with Paypal Express checkout.

I got to testing it and got an error. The usps api account was moved to the production server. I got the email verification from the post office. I did enter the correct credentials in shipping rules. I am using the paypal Sandbox. The items have weights in ounces. The error message is vague. It simply says:

We're sorry

Your transaction could not be completed due to a problem occurring while calculating shipping.

Please return to checkout and try again, or contact us.


Please help. Thank you.

If you turn on debug mode in the admin it will give you more details on the exact error. This is usually bade shipping credentials or a bad origin address.

Ok. I turned the debug mode on and got a response. However I have no idea what to do with that info. What does it mean?

I'm using the Sandbox and of course the info entered is fictitious except for the city name, state and zip. Could it be because I'm using the Sandbox in conjunction with the Live USPS server?

It's been a few days and haven't gotten anybody to weigh in on this for me. I did send all the info for ftp and login to the cart account. Can anyone send some kind of response. I still don't know the answer as to why that would be happening.
