eCart 5.0.6 has been released

eCart 5.0.6 has been released to fix a number of issues that have been reported

Please make sure to uninstall the previous version of eCart form the Extension manager before installing this newer version.

NOTE for design Extender and Data Bridge users: if you are using Design Extender or Data Bridge, eCart cannot be the last extension installed. You will need to uninstall one of those 2 (I suggest Design Extender since it is smaller and quicker to uninstall) when you uninstall eCart, then reinstall it after eCart 5.0.6

*Further Dreamweaver CS6 compatibility updates

*Further updates and fixes to FedEx Shipping code

*Corrected an issue that prevented email receipt options from being present within the Checkout Wizard when Data Bridge is installed.

Free tools

how does this relate to "freetools"?

Ext Mgr in DW6 (under win7), lets you either install Freetools or eCart - but not both (says they "conflict" - and says one or other has to be removed.

This is a clean install (how rare...) with nothing installed other than CS6/design premium, win 7 pro 64 bit, PC with i7/32GB RAM, 2 x 256GB (high end) SSD's and a 2TB data bucket.

As these are the only 4 Extensions that are current - could I PLEASE have the correct order to install same?

Also, when installing the extensions originally (as in an hour ago,) Design Extender, first one to install, said: "The following translators were not loaded due to errors.
WAGMP_HTM has configuration information that is invalid.
WAGMP_MAP_DIRECTIONS.HTM has configuration information that is invalid.

Kind of sad after the thousands of dollars spent and years of hoping, I am still hand coding because my webassist software is so unreliable.

I love working weekends because my timelines get trashed as nothing works and I am back to doing it all the hard way. (Oh, the contact form seems to be the exception...) eg, make more than 5 or 6 changes in Site Sculptor and it freezes (new site; theme it; change page names). Is this some sort of torture to make people sign on for the subscription model???

Jedi

MySQL and eCart

What is the maximum number of rows that are recommended for an orders table. I have over 3400 entries and now all of a sudden the orders are not being sent to the database, and I'm wondering if I should be concerned about the mysql database portion first.

depends on the primary key filed and how it is set up.

the maximum value for the smallint data type column is 32767 if signed (+/-) or 65535 if unsigned.

i recommend using the int data type unsigned, and make sure to set the length to 11, this allows for a max of 4294967295
