Re-Branding

Hi

Please can you confirm if I can re-brand the 'My Admin' page in PowerCMS with my company logo?

Thanks

Scott

The easiest way I've discovered is to simply replace logo.gif (or logo.jpg - sorry I can't remember the proper format off the top of my head) that exists in your directory with your own logo. Just use the same file name and dimensions. If you have to use different image dimensions than the PowerCMS logo file, you'll have to edit the image attributes in the php page(s) manually to match your own. Other page characteristics such as background color, text and link colors can be changed to match your branding by editing the CSS.

I've done this with PowerCMSBuilder in which the logo.gif is placed inside the images folder after install. Not sure if its located in a different spot if you're using the older stand alone version of PowerCMS.

Demo site establish email confirmation on CMS edit changes

:p Hi. Thank you for your reply. It is appreciated.

I would like to create a "Demo" site with a "public" login and password credential ..."but" would like to know when someone updates the content of the site via email.

I could for example create demo@californiafarminsurance.com with a password of demo.

How would I get an email to come to me at demo@californiafarminsurance.com on the edit submission "submit" ?

I hope I am making sense..

The reason is...to allow someone to demo it for free but to monitor the content incase someone put up unwanted content.

Thanks:cool:

you would need to edit the admin_cms/contents_update.php file and add Universal Email to it in order to send an email when the contents are updated.
