A couple of questions

A couple of questions

Jason:

1. The DB 'read me' states that there are a number of extensions to be uninstalled from EM before installing DB. Does this mean that they must be COMPLETELY REMOVED (by clicking the REMOVE button), or is un-enabling them adequate?
2. I happen to have a second system running CS6 and it does NOT have DB installed (having DataAssist latest installed instead). Will there be problems working in the same site containing some DB-created files if I also create some files with DA? I'm thinking that there may be which is why I want to ask first.

Thanks.

1) They will need to be completely removed.

2) I dont think it should be a problem to have pages in the same site that use Data Assist and other pages that use Data Bridge, though you may run into an issue if you use the Data Assist to edit the Data Bridge insert or update behaviors.

Maybe I didn't ask the question correctly - my main concern was for a site that is being actively developed using both DB and DA, although not on the same group of pages. I'm worried about supporting files being overwritten by whichever extension was last used. Would that be a problem?

data assist and data bridge use different locations for the supporting files so they will not conflict.
