Design Extender/Framework Builder bug in DWCS6 on Mac

I'm using Design Extender 1.0.6 on Mac (OSX 10.7.4) with Dreamweaver CS6.

When I browse to select a static plug-in to insert in my page, DW enters an endless loop. It doesn't allow you to actually insert the plug-in... you're stuck inside the selection window. You then have to force quit DW to exit.

This isn't an issue in DW CS5.5. All work fine there.

This is a problem caused by a bug we have identified in DW CS6 on Mac OS, We will be releasing an update in the next couple of days to address the issue.

Any update on this update?

I am waiting so I can overhaul a site that was built with framework builder.

Jason posted in another thread that the Mac fix/upgrade will happen early next week. I have fingers crossed. :-)

Can we still expect to get this update early this week?

I have a customer that is impatiently waiting for some work from me.

Please let us know.

regression of the issues we are fixing has taken a bit longer than planned.

We are targeting to release an update to Design Extender and eCart Late this week, and an update to Data Bridge Early next week.

Thanks for the update and anticipated dates. It is a big help to know how to plan work flow. Much appreciated!

Well it is about as late in the week as it gets!

Still no update or even an explanation of when this update might happen!!!

I guess all the money that I have spent with Webassist through the years (feel free to check my account to see) does not count for anything.

Feel free to enjoy your holidays and weekends while we beta test your prematurely released software. When I have problems with any of my businesses we work around the clock until they are corrected.

I can understand that you are having problems but the lack of communication is ridiculous!

I think I might start spending my money elsewhere.

We were able to get all of the bugs fixed for ecart and design extender. We got out the ecart update for cs6 on thurs. We ran into a few issues in qa for design extender, so we just missed release on Friday. We expect the update on tues now. Data bridge still has a handful of issues we are working on, but we are still shooting for sometime next week.

Here it is sat at 9pm on sat. and I will continue to work around the clock until we are done.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Thanks for the update.
I apologize for my rant.

It just gets a little frustrating when you don't know what's going on.

I really depend on your products for structuring my sites. I use framework builder for all my sites. Going back to the frustration DW teamplates or path nightmares for SSI is not and option for me.

thanks again
