CCS Form Builder Use of recordsets

I would like to use the CC function of form builder but I just want to take the CC info from the email field in the web form. Can I do this without using a record set?

Thanks

yes, in the Form builder wizard set up the form, on the form functions tab, set it to send the form in an email and configure the to and from address.

after the form is created, go to the server behaviors panel, and double click the universal email behavior to edit it. click the lightning bolt next to the cc address and select the email form element.

Thanks Jason but when I double click the server behavior, I get an error, please see the attached screen shot.

What version of CSS Form Builder are you using? I believe this was an issue in a n older version that was corrected in CSS Form Builder 2.0.1.

the version I have installed is 2.0.0

you should uninstall that version, then download version 2.0.1 from the download center and install it.

Thanks Jason, I have done what you have suggested and the error is gone but I am still unable to assign a CC using the lightning bolt after double clicking the universal email server behavior without seeming to need a record set.

I'm not using a database for this so I don't understand why it's asking for a recordset.

it's not that it os asking for a recordset, it is that your site is not defined for dynamic development.

see the "Defining a Dynamic Site in Dreamweaver" Tutorial on the Tutorials And Training page.
tutorials.php

once the site is set up for dynamic development, the bindings panel will show the bindings for the form.

I have followed the tutorial to a tee and I'm still getting the same response, I also do not see any bindings to the form in the bindings panel. Now that I have updated the extension, should a remove the form that I had initially and start over for this to work?

no, you don't need to redo the form.

what settings did you use in the site definition for connecting to the testing sever?

please send a screen shoot of the testing server settings in a zip archive.
