Orders not showing in admin

When in test mode, all the cart functionality was working perfectly in that a new user was shown in the list of users, and orders were shown in the list of orders and the sales graphs etc.
Since I unchecked the "Test mode" check box, and put in a real paypal account, that functionality has stopped working. (i.e. new users aren't shown, new orders aren't shown, updates to the graphs don't happen)
The odd thing is that the worflow of.... place order, go to Paypal, confirm with paypal, pay, go back to site, see a unique order code has been generated , get confirmation from Paypal by email all works perfectly.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

What Paypal system are you using?

It sounds like you are using paypal standard?

if so, make sure you update your paypal account to set the IPN Page.

in the power store admin section on the gateway tab, if you are using Paypal standard, it will show the IPN page address, you need to update your paypal account to tell it to use that IPN Page.

Hi... I'm having the same issue but can't find in PayPal where to enter the IPN page address. PayPal's information is confusing on where to find it. Any assistance most appreciated.

Update: I think I located it. My Selling Tools> Getting PaID>Instant Payment Notfications
