Design Extender 1.0.5 has been released

Design Extender 1.0.5 has been released to fix the issues that have cropped up after the release of Data Bridge.

Please make sure to uninstall the previous version of design extender form the Extension manager before installing this newer version.


*Further updated for compatibility with Data Bridge.

*Corrected an issue in multiple interfaces that use the Site Tools panel while generating content that caused errors in Dreamweaver CS4.

*Corrected an issue that caused an error to occur when inserting a CSS Menu Writer with dynamic contents to a page.

*Corrected an issue that caused an error to occur when editing a Framework Builder Dynamic Plugin server behavior that contained a DataAssist created results page as a plugin source.

*Corrected multiple issues with editing, importing and exporting various Presets in the Preset Manager.

*Corrected an issue that caused ‘units’ lists within CSS Menu Writer’s interface to be blank when editing an existing menu.

*Corrected an issue that caused an error to occur within CSS Sculptor when attempting to add a Spry element to the layout.

Error when installing release

When I attempt to install the new version 1.0.5 I get the error message:
the extension package is invalid. the extension will not be installed.
This error is from inside Adobe Extension Manager

Have you tried to download it more than once, just in case the download became corrupt?

That error happens if the download is corrupt.

it is usually caused by selecting the option to open the extension.

when you click the download link, you will have an option to open it or save. always chose the option to save it.

only after it has been saved to your computer should it be opened to install it in the extension manager.
