Discount not carrying over to confirmation page

Hi Jason!

I might be missing something here. I have a discount code setup and when applied it shows the discount on the cart page, but it does not carry over and show the discounted price on the confirm page.

thx
Eric

to help troubleshoot, add the following code on the cart page and on the confirm page just before the </body> tag:

php:
<pre><?php var_dump($_SESSION); ?></pre>

and send a link to your site where i can see the problem occur, also a promo code to use for testing.

Here is the link:

Click the Sign Up Now Button

Enter Discount Code: RED12A

Something changed because it is working now :)

One other question...

If I have a discount code that provides a 100% discount so the item is free do I just set the discount to 0 times the cart subtotal?

thx

OK, glad to hear the coupon is working now.

0 times anything is equal to 0:

10 * 0 = 0

you should use cart subtotal times 1:

10 * 1 = 10
