change address marker

Hello is there any way to change the address marker?

The marker is not in the correct location on the map.

You want to change the image used for the marker? For this you would need to edit the map javascript file and find the line for the marker image and change it to point to your own image.

as far as the location on the map goes, send a link where i can see the problem, where are you expecting to see the marker on the map?

HI Jason,

Actually I want to move the marker to the correct location on the map.

After checking with Google, Yahoo, and MapQuest I saw the marker is shown in different locations for the same address. Looks like the entire block has the address of 4495 Parkway Road then the building number has to be used (example: Building 200) to find the exact office location.

I create the exact map location with photoshop.

I've attached a map for review.

Thanks,
Jason

The google geocoder will not return the office location, you would need to use the latitude and longitude instead of address to more accurately place the marker.

Hi Jason,

Thank you. I'm now able to use Pro Maps Google with an accurate location.

Is there a way to click on the map and have it go to Google maps to enter the starting address with this ending accurate address location instead of using the "include directions".

Thanks,
Jason

you could add a link that passes lat and long to google maps like this:

<a href="http://maps.google.com/?q=38.882526,-76.990121">Go to Google</a>
