sCart Object - Discount value from recordset value

Each client in the system I am working on has a discount value applied to them which is stored in a field in the client database (pm1_users.UserDiscount). The value is stored as an integer and is the percentage discount they are entitled to. How would I apply this discount using the eCart object?

in the authenticate use server behavior, go to the sessions tab and set the UserDiscount column to be saved to a session on login.

then in the eCart object, edit the discount, and add a trigger to the rule:

Session Variable 'UserDiscount' exists

and set the calculation as:
Based on cart subtotal:

Cart subtotal 'times' '$_SESSION['UserDiscount']'
