refresh a dynamic drop down

Have a DA insert page with several dynamic drop downs . I have added the ability to add a record to the file for a drop down using ajax and it works fine, however, the recordset for the drop down is not getting updated and I haven't a clue how to go about it.

Looking for suggestions please.

you would need to hand code an ajax function to reload the select list.
