Missing Features

I'm not sure if you want these on the wish list, but I thought, given how new the extension is, that discussing some missing minor features should be discussed here just like bugs.

I just noticed that when I set the Search page and include the field "title", I do not get the opportunity to change the label to "Title." That was available before and seems to be an oversight. If not included, at least capitalizing the words would be better.

Thanx

Field labels can be updated for all pages from the column settings section (the same place where you add validation and field types). It can't be configured on a page by page basis, but in most cases if you want it updated on the search page you probably want it updated on the other pages as well and that is what this interface will do.

I found it. I think it is a bit less intuitive than before, but I'll get used to it.

I did notice that an HTML editor field will show up on the search page as a text input, but a textarea filed will show up as a textarea on the search page.

That should probably be configurable so you can choose small, medium, or large for the field size, or choose to use a textarea for an html editor, but most of all, in most cases, a textarea would be a text input field on a search page I would think.

I know it is a bit of work, but it would be nice if DateTime Picker were an option and not just a date picker.

DataAssist Suggestion:
Maybe it would be nice if a CANCEL button is added by default or optional to the Insert and Update pages created by DataAssist that will take you back to the result page.

Formbuilder Suggestion:
Maybe it would be handy if the tab order index can be set inside Formbuilder for every element instead of increasing the number. Now after creation i have to go into the code to change the taborder index manually everytime. This would especially be handy when creatin 2 column form layouts.

FormBuilder Bug: I tested the design form elements and the initial states (initial, valid, invalid, focus) return to their defaults on every change for: List, Menu, Radio Groups and Checkbox Groups. I have posted this in some other thread as well.

Thanks for the feedback and feature suggestions. We have opened a bug for the initial states settings not working properly and will be working on that for the next release.

Security Assist Suggestion:

It would be nice if you can choose / customize some design presets for the created login and registration forms inside Security Assist, same like you do in DataAssist.
Or did i overlook this feature?

In the next major development cycle we will probably remove Security Assist and add Login and Forgot password pages to Data Assist so that you can do everything from the Data Assist wizard.

This means that in the near future all Security Assist features will be embedded inside DataAssist, including registration pages as well?
Sounds great.
