Thanks! (but one tiny problem)

Hi WA,

Just want to say thanks for Data Bridge.

It took me a while to uninstall all the extensions but it appears to have been worth it apart from few niggles with Data Assist. It's nice to see Dynamic Dropdowns make a reappearance aswell.

I'd be interested to know how the 'mentioned' new version of Data Assist will fit into the equation. Will it be available as an purchasable upgrade to Data Bridge?

I have run into one error when starting Dreamweaver since the upgrade. Basically I uninstalled all my extensions and then installed eCart, Data Bridge and Design Extender. It doesn't seem to affect too much but hoping its an easy fix.

Cheers
Ian

The Data Assist Version in Data Bridge is version 3, DataBridge is essentially Data Assist 3 plus a consolidation of the Data driven extensions.

the install order with Data Bridge should be:
eCaret 5.0.3
Design Extender 1.0.4
Data Bridge 1.0.0

before uninstalling the extensions it is quicker if you rename the configuration folder, for help finding the configuration folder location, see the common installation issues PDF:
common_installation_issues.pdf

cose the extension manager and Dreamweaver, then rename the configuration folder. When you open the extension manager, the extensions will be unchecked to be disabled. select each one then click the delete button,m the delete should only tack a moment since they are disabled.

then you can install eCart, Design Extender and Data Bridge. make sure to use the latest version, and install in the correct order.

Hi Jason,

I've renamed the config folder, removed the extensions again and reinstalled in your suggested order below but I still get that JS error message on startup.

Literally, all I have installed is eCart, Design Extender and Data Extender.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Same Error Message, Plus One

Getting the same error message here.

I'm also getting one that says ...

"Unable to fine file WA_SiteToolsV2.htm in the Configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown."

The "unable to find" error can be fixed by going to "Window->Workspace Layout->Reset 'your workspace'"

We will be looking into the start-up error and getting out a fix for it shortly, but it shouldn't cause any issues with functionality in the mean time.
