what paypal system are you using?
you need to modify the code that tells paypal what currency you are using, this is different for paypal Express, Standard and Pro, so i need to k now which you are using to direct you to which code on the confirm page to edit.
Hi Jason,
I tried with my Business Paypal account in france and eCart set to Euros but the paypal payment page is still in US$.
Otherwise I need to use a Premier paypal account in canada, currency canadian dollars.
Thanks, Daniel
on the conform page there is a line of code that tells paypal what currency to use. this line of code will be different if you are using PayPal Standard, payPal Express Checkout or PayPal Direct Payments.
Your reply does not address the question that was asked:
Which paypal system are you using?
the code change that needs to be made will be different depending on your answer to that question. once you let me know which paypal system you are using, i will be able to direct you to the code that needs to be changed.
the available PayPal systems Are:
PayPal Standard
PayPal Pro
let me know which of these 2 systems you selected when running the checkout wizard.
Hi Jason,
Sorry but I don't know how to answer you. I checked my Paypal account and didn't found which system it is. I presume it is Standard.
Choice are only Personnal, Premium or Business.
Where to find the informations you need ?
Thanks, Daniel
when you ran the checkout wizard in eCart, you would have had to select whether the checkout should use PayPal Payments Standard or PayPal Payments Pro.
MyQuestion is: which of these options did you choose?
it sounds to me like you probably choose PayPal Payments Standard. if that is the case, on the confirm page, find the following line of code:
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" id="currency_code" value="USD" />
and change it to:
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" id="currency_code" value="CAD" />
Hi Jason,
You are right, I choose PayPal Payments Standard in the Wizard.
I changed the currency in confirm page code and now all seems OK.
Thanks, Daniel
