Using CMS 2 with User Registration

Hi guys,

I'm having problems getting these two pieces of your software to work together - I think because of something to do with helper_PHP.php. When I try to load a page that is access protected (but I haven't logged in) I'm getting the error.

Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

The webpage at //www.websitename.com/user_login/index.php?accesscheck=%2Fuser_login%2Findex.php has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Any ideas what I need to do so that I can protected pages which can be edited with CMS 2?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

All is well!

Found the problem.

My header info on Line 4 at the "WA_Auth_RestrictAccess" part was set wrong - I was telling the browser to go to the same page the user was actually on instead of redirecting it to the users login page if they hadn't provided log in details. Doh!!!

Some times the answer is just staring you in the face.... :)

Spoke too soon :(

Rats tails.

Now I'm getting a fatal error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wa_authenticateuser() (previously declared in /*******webserverlocation*****/user_login/WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php:10) in *******webserverlocation*****/cms/WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php on line 48

Clearly a clash of codes between my installation of CMS 2 and User Registration. Can anybody point out the obvious as to why this happening and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks again - I'm a bit of a PHP lightweight!!!!!

LOL - Seek and ye shall find

All is well again. Commented out help_PHP.php as suggested elsewhere in these forums and everything working normally.

Well until I break something again.

Hope everyone enjoyed my self-assist post as much as I enjoyed writing it. LOL
