Use DA results page as an update page also?

Use DA results page as an update page also?

Hi, using DA to create a results page which displays all records from a table. Would it be possible to use this also as the update page? For example one of the table fields is a a checkbox, once checked this sets the record as completed.

On each record in results page if the user checked the checkbox could I set this as an update? In my query I only have records showing that are unchecked so the checked record would in effect be removed next page load?

Thanks

This _could_ be done, but will require hand coding to accomplish, and is not supported.

you would need to add the checkbox to the repeat region in the results page, and use the ID column from the recordset as the checked value.

for the checkbox name, use "[]" at the end to create an array of the checked values:
name="checked[]"

you would then need to create a loop through the checked values and perform an update for each id in the checkbox array to update the status column to completed.

Thanks Jason, will take a better look tomorrow, think I am half way there now.
