wide slide show questions

Hi,

I have selected "Slideshow - Wide" as my gallery design.
This fits nicely in my website. I have 5 images.
Questions:
1. I want the images to fade or dissolve as they change to the next image/slide. How do I make that change while still using the slideshow wide format?

2. I also want to increase the time that a image/slide is shown on screen (e.g. increase from 5 seconds to 10 seconds)
