SSL Certificate, Shipping, Logo in Title Bar, etc.
Hi, Jason. Thank you for all of the hard work that you do in helping us make the most of our site!!!
---see below---Now, we have an SSL Certificate, since they are registering and paying on our site. Is there a way to get that to populate on each page, maybe down below the side navigation bar?
I have made a few test purchases and the shipping does not show up. Our product is not shipped, by the way, they must pick it up at the event. So, I created a "custom" shipping option that states the "Pick Up" terms. But, when the customer checks out, it does not show them how the item ships. Did I do something wrong? Can it be fixed?
---see below---How can I get my logo to appear as the icon in the Title Bar of the page (that may not be the correct term, but if you look up at the name on the "TAB" of your internet explorer page, you will see that WebAssist has their logo next to the title WebAssist Forums - Post N...)? WHere would I add the code so that it stayed throughout (like the SSL Certificate)?
The Google API Key is not working. I put in the code Google tells me to use (which, I believe it said Java v3 and Powerstore requires v2) and we just get a new window that says it is not working. Can this be fixed? Also, can we add text to the page to tell about us?
In the product area, I have added a simple option of a text box where they can type the decsription of the item. The heading for it is "Enter Description of Item to be Signed", however, PowerStore only shows "Enter Descri...". Is there a way to word wrap the title so that the whole thing shows? Also, is there a way to make this field mandatory to continue? Finally, is there a way to use filler text that disappears once they begin typing instead of being the "Default"?
I would like to use the space under the side navigation bar. I would like to always show our email, phone number, and some testimonials. Is this possible? How would I do it?
Your site shows savings from "Our Price" compared to the "Retail Price", but the conditional options increase both prices, so is there a way to show the "Save" x amount of dollars as a "Save Up To" x dollars?
In the Home Page where it offers a Site Message (the color block at the top), can we add a flash element, or, at least, scrolling text Star Wars style, preferably using html, or the force, whichever works best? I would love to have movement there to help draw the eye.
Thank you again for your help. Whatever they pay you, it is not enough. You are worth your weight in Gold (currently $1,650.37 per ounce - you do the math) ;-)
***update***
Being a constant student, I have found out how to add the SSL Certificate based upon your previous post to someone else regarding customizing the Side Navigation Menu, so thank you. Also, I have found out how to add the Favicon to my site.
