redirect to tabbed panel after update

redirect to tabbed panel after update

I have been following the info on page: spry_url_utils.php to create links to specific tabs on a page.

I have this *almost* working; after updating the page, the user is redirected to the correct tab on the correct page - but the dynamic part of the url is lost.

I have the folllowing code for the update behaviour:

$WA_redirectURL = "cars_Update.php?tab=1#TabbedPanels1&CarID=".((isset($_POST["WADAUpdateRecordID"]))?$_POST["WADAUpdateRecordID"]:"") ."";

When pressed on page cars_Update.php?CarID=49, this goes to cars_Update.php?tab=1#TabbedPanels1&CarID=49

However, though the tab and page appear to be correct, there is no data from CarID=49 - despite what it says in the URL.

I have tried putting the parameters in the other order - but the link fails completely then and I've tried using ?& between the two parameters,

I've trawled the Internet for an answer to this and can't find one, so any help much appreciated.

I have just tried it again, by reversing the parameters and this time it works properly!!

$WA_redirectURL = "cars_Update.php?CarID=".((isset($_POST["WADAUpdateRecordID"]))?$_POST["WADAUpdateRecordID"]:"") ."&tab=1#TabbedPanels1";

*&^%$ computers!!
