Order Confirmation not getting through from checkout success page

Hi, I've been searching through other posts and trying to establish why my order confirmations are not working. I've set a 'from' email (which is on the same server as the domain - don't know if this could cause any probs) but think I might need to set the smtp server. Problem is the code has been so customised I can no longer call up the universal email wizard. The emails had been getting through previously but now seems to have ground to a halt. I've attached the email php page as well as the checkout_success page.

Site is live and client is having to rely on his confirmations from paypal as order alerts so need to sort out asap. Thanks.

some hosts will not relay the email message if there is a from display name specified.

in the webassist/email/waue_confirm_1.php page, try changing:

php:
$MailFrom        = "O'Keefe Customer Service|WA|customerservice@okeefefashion.com";

to:

php:
$MailFrom        = "customerservice@okeefefashion.com";

Who is your hosting company? they may require you to enter an smtp server, but this requirement is deferent from host to host.
