Quotation form

Quotation form

I wish to build a simple quotation form.

The idea is to let potential buyers see a list if available items, place a tick in a box on that line, and state item quantities required. The data can then be sent by email to the supplier who will return with quoted prices.

No cart is envisaged.

Can anyone please suggest which WA extensions would be best used for this please?

Thanks

John

you could use CSS Form builder for creating the form and emailing it.

Thanks Jason
This is an old .asp site.

Would there be anything in the old WA range.

Would Universal Email be use-able for this?

Universal Email 3 would work for sending the email using ASP, you would need to build the form manually though.

I realise the .asp version of Universal email is long since gone but I wonder if someone can recall...
After a number of attempts using I managed to get the detail appearing on the page created to send the email. However there does not seem anyway to send the email, no button.

I also cannot see any way to modify the code of .asp Universal email via a wizard.

Any ideas welcome or may perhaps have to rebuild the site in php?

you need to add a form to your page with a submit button in it to send the email.

to edit the email, open the server behaviors panel, double click the universal email server behavior, then click the DW edit icon.

Thanks Jason.
I am not sure if the UE for .asp is still supported, perhaps not.
However if it is perhaps I could ask a little more help. If UE .asp is not still supported I will quite understand.

I seem to have created the page OK but when I press to send I get an error

Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A000D)
Type mismatch: 'WA_Universal_Email_1_SendMail'
/lepage_bimed/TMP75c851ycee.asp, line 30

Line 27 -30 is
if ((Request.ServerVariables("Request_Method") = "POST")) then
'WA Universal Email object="CDOSYS"
'Send Loop Once Per Entry
WA_Universal_Email_1_SendMail("me@mydomain.co.uk")

Can you see what may be wrong please?
Thank you
John
