Manual processing of order using PayPal Payments pro

Hi everyone

I am just about to run the Checkout pages/process in Dreamweaver using PayPal Payments Pro as the payment processor. What I would like to know is;

1) Once the pages are created using the extension where and how do I add in my custom asp code to store the order information(ID, Total, Authcode etc) in my current database table - 'Users'?

2) What fields are returned from Paypal Payments Pro that I can store in my db to know if the actual payment was successful?

Thanks

1) Storing the cart details in the database is included in the wizard.

2) Nothing will be stored if it is not successful, so no additional fields are needed.

I actually want to update an existing table with the information rather than create a new record, filtering the existing data by a session variable and then inserting the OrderID if the payment was successful?

I guess you can do whatever you want to do. That is the nature of the extensions. Use whatever database design and workflow works best for you.

Obviously, that goes without saying but using your cart extension where should I insert this logic to update my existing databas table? Which generated page?

Thanks

Any updates would most likely be done on the confirm page. That is the page that does all of the database manipulation post-payment.
