Form Processor

Hi Guys,

From what I have read and understood thus far I cannot use CSS Form Builder on its own to process the data entered in the form and have it stored in a database.

I want to create a contact form to be filled and submitted by visitors to my website. Once the the visitors submit the form, an email with the data collected should be sent to one of my designated email accounts, with the data automatically entered and stored in my database, and an auto responder to notify visitors the form has been received successfully or/and a confirmation page.

Any help on on how accomplish the above is most welcomed.

Thank you in advance.

in form builder, the form function tab allows you to set the form contents to be sent in an email.

to store the form data in a database, you would need to add an insert record behavior. Go to the server behaviors and click the plus button then select insert record.

select the form element that each column should use to get the value from.

you can update the universal email behavior (Window -> Server behaviors, double click the universal email server behavior) so that it redirects to another page after sending the email.

Jason, thank you for responding to my question. I understood what had to be done in CSS Form Builder and what needs to be performed in Data Assist makes sense. I just wanted to clarify what if any can be done on the auto responder part if that were possible.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks

an auto responder is not supported by either form builder or data assist.

Thank you for clarifying that. I will work with a confirmation page instead.
