recieving fatal error when checking out

hello I have set the shopping cart up and ran the check out wizard with pp sandbox testing enabled. the products add to cart fine, i put all my fake customer information in but when i hit checkout i receive the following fatal error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\xampp\htdocs\testsite\WA_eCart\Adv_CO_Scripts\PP_DirectPayment_PHP.php on line 311

anyhelp on this would be great

you will need to edit the php.ini file to enable xampp

see this faq entry on the xampp site for details on finding the php.ini location:

once you locate the php.ini file, find the following line:

and uncomment it by deleting the leading semi colon:
