Question about the "From" Field

Question about the "From" Field

I have the form created and it is working with Universal Email. All emails from contact form all have one email in the from email. Is there a specific code I can put into the universal email settings in the From field to have the From field use the person's email completing the form. I have limited php knowledge. Thank you.

This is the php code that is in the email field:

<?php echo((isset($_GET["invalid"])?ValidatedField("contact","Appointment_request_group_Email"):"")); ?>

Also if there is a quick answer how do I edit the universal email settings. I could never figure that out.

Thank you,
Ernie

No, that is not the correct code for the from address, that is the code for the Validated Entries binding, which will only have a value if form validation fails.

to use the email address of the person filling in the form, use the binding for the email field from the form collection on the bindings panel, not the validated entries collection.

to edit the universal email settings, go to the Server Behaviors panel (Window -> Server Behaviors) in the list of server behaviors, double click the Universal Email server behavior.
