DW executing onLoad Javascript error - DW runs fine

DW executing onLoad Javascript error - DW runs fine

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Design Extender, first uninstalling the older extensions, then installing Design Extender. Now, everytime I launch DW CS5, I get the following JavaScript error message. "At line 28 of file ..." (see attached screen shot for full file name). The error says that "wa.powercms.initFullCache is not a function".

DreamWeaver (CS5) so far works just fine, although I haven't been doing anything with power CMS lately. It's just a bother to have to click ok in the error msg dialogue box every time I open DW.

I deleted my Windows Data Cache file, per the instructions in the "common installation issues" document, but that didn't change anything. I have so many extensions installed, I am loathe to uninstall and reinstall all of them.

Any suggestions about what might be causing this error message and how I can fix/get rid of it?

Thanks,
Kim

there is no attachment to this thread for the full error message, but try resetting your workspace. Go to Window -> Workspace Layout -> Reset '<your workspace layout>'

Still getting error message, though DW runs

Hi,
Don't know what happened to the attachment - I've reattached to this reply.
Tried resetting the workspace, as you suggested, made no difference except in the appearance of my workspace! Still getting same error message (see screen shot).
Any other suggestions about what to do to resolve the error?

Thanks,
Kim

Just spent 3 hours installing/uninstalling/new activation codes/etc/etc. Errors appeared. Could not ascertain from which addon.
I have the same problem except the error is on 'line 12' ??????
Decided to do 1-by-1, very carefully.
And then I decided to try the free google tools. Argh!!!!!
Now I get an error and I have no idea where the error lies. Uninstalling the free stuff achieved nothing.

I now uninstall everything again???? Its late and I need some zzzzzzzzzzz's before I start shouting at the screen.

What Extensions do you have installed, including version numbers.

If you could send a screen shot of the extension manager window in a zip archive, this would help.

normally this issue is cased by installing conflicting extensions. the screen shot will me determine if this is the case and let you know which extensions are causing the conflict.
