Discount condition and tax

I have discount condition like

Discount 5% is default
Buy more 100$ discount 7%
Buy more 150$ discount 10%

I set discount in eCart

1. Subtotal for entire cart contents > 0, Base onthe cart subtotal > time : .05
2. Subtotal for entire cart contents > 0, Base onthe cart subtotal > time : .02
3. Subtotal for entire cart contents > 0, Base onthe cart subtotal > time : .03

This work but i want to know this right way?

And problem with tax. How to set tax calculated after subtotal discount.

i dont see how this could work, the discount should be set like this instead:
1. Subtotal for entire cart contents > 0, Base onthe cart subtotal > time : .05
2. Subtotal for entire cart contents > 100, Base onthe cart subtotal > time : .02
3. Subtotal for entire cart contents > 150, Base onthe cart subtotal > time : .03

How to calculate tax after discount

In the tax rule, use the based on taxable total calculation. the taxable total will be the total - discounts.
