CSS Sculptor - html5 doctype, HTML5 and CSS3

How do I get CSS Sculptor to generate html5 doctype, HTML5, and CSS3 code?

Regards

CSSculptor does not generate HTML 5 or CSS 3 code.

after creating the layout, you can change the doctype to HTML 5 by going to Modify - > Page Properties. on the Title / Encoding tab, you will have a listing of document types to choose from.

Thanks for the note Jason.

This is very disappointing. Unfortunately, just changing the doctype to HTML 5 is not going to alter the CSSculptor code or change it to accommodate HTML5 properties from within CSSculptor.

Its probably better to use the Dreamweaver HTML5 sample layouts and alter these. Unfortunately, this makes CSSculptor obsolete when it comes to automatically generating HTML5 layouts.

CSS SCulptor has not been updated to generate HTML 5 layouts.

Does that mean that it will be? Hopefully soon?
That would be very helpful.

Everyone I know in the business, including myself, is already working with HTML5 exclusively. I am going to miss not being able to use CSSculptor in the current state that is at.

It's not something that we have planned at this time, you can certainly post to the wishlist forum to make a feature request for this to be considered.

Jason, why not? A lot of other products from other companies have been updated or being updated for this.

W have been concentrating on Consolidating our extensions and releasing an update to Data Assist 3.

If there are specific HTML 5 or CSS3 features you would like to see implemented, please post a feature request to the Wish List forum for consideration.
