Session Variable Issues

Thread began 2/29/2012 6:24 pm by justin.casperson417345 | Last modified 3/01/2012 12:23 pm by Jason Byrnes | 466 views | 1 replies |

Session Variable Issues

I have used security assist many times and has always run great. I have built a new site with an area that requires authentication so I used security assist. Login works fine I enter in username and password and it passes me to the correct page however on the page it takes me to I have added a "firstname" session variable that I created from security assist. The problem is that when I am passed to the page it should display "user: Example Name" but it isn't displaying the users name just "user:" any idea why this is happening? It is causing a lot of problems for me. Thanks for any help.

try adding the following code at line 1:

<?php @session_start(); ?>

if you continue to have a problem, send a copy of the login page and the page that should show the session in a zip archive so i can see the code.
