recieve a second message 10 mins later

Hi there, for some reason i keep recieving the same message a second time. i have made sure that i only have one link to my layout template within the php code. i realize that the form will be resent if the browser is refreshed. bit will the form be resent if i navigate away from the contact page?

no the form should be resent by navigating away from the contact page, only if the browser is refreshed.


Do you have anything entered for a bcc or cc address?

also i have an image displayed within the message so that it will be displayed upon reciept but its not showing. it just shows an empty box

I dont see any reason why a second email would be sent unless the form is resubmitted.

maybe set a to to page in the universal email behavior to have it redirect to another page after the mail is sent to prevent the from from being submitted again.

the bcc (Blind carbon copy) and cc (carbon copy) are used to set additional recipients for the message to send copies to.

for the image to display in the email, make sure you provide a full url in the image src:
<img src="http://mydomain.com/image.jpg" />

excellent thank you. also with regards to the captcha box, i tried using it but gave up on it as it doesnt matter what text you put in the box, it still seems to except it, any ideas why that is??

On the page you sent me, i don't see any captcha elements, but after adding the captcha, you also need to add the like entry validation to validate the captcha session agains what is entered.
