How do I control the width of CK Editor

How do I control the width of CK Editor

I've come across a problem for the way PowerCMS Builder and CK Editor presents the editor window.

Basically, the website I have built is made up of different columns and each column is of different widths. The problem is that the client is struggling to associate the width of the editor window (which is full width to the admin page), to what could be a narrow column on the public site of the website. They are worried they might add content that is too wide for the column it's going to sit in.

So, my question is this... is there a way to dynamically resize the editor window to equal the column width that is on the public side of the site?

In a round about way, this is going to lead to my previous question posted here:

showthread.php?t=25146

Because the styles in CK Editor don't match the styles I've used on the public side of the site, can I include my CSS in the editor to ensure that what the administrator is typing in the editor matches the public side?

Thanks

Mat

on the contents update and contents insert pages of power cms the width and height are controlled by the following lines:

$CKEditor_config["width"] = "98%";
$CKEditor_config["height"] = "300px";

you would need to hand code the logic to dynamically set those. It is not something we can support here in the forums

regarding CSS, see my reply to the other thread you started.
