Stopping info popup opening

I am using php/mysql and have got a map working using a recordset of data. When I load the map I want no info popup to be open - I just want to see the flags. Can I do this?

the easiest way to do this is to enable driving directions, but don't enter a starting address.

Thank you

That works great - thanks

That doesn't work for me

I still get driving directions even though the driving directions starting point is empty. It just picks a starting place on its own. and the purple line is then on the map and the written directions are below the map.

All I want is the info window to not popup initially.

Does anyone know how to do that?

leaving the driving directions blank should do what you are asking, please send a link where i can see the problem.

I dont see any directions on visiting this page, nor do I see the popup windows.

Perhaps try clearing your browsers cache

What?

You don't see the directions below the map or the purple line on the map from point A to point B?

I cleared the cache and it's still there.

Point A is 9301 Rain Lily Trl, Fort Worth, TX 76177 (I don't even know where it's getting that address) to Point B which is 4801 Birchman Ave. Fort Worth, TX 76107.

I don't know why you're not seeing it, but it is there.

I am using IE9, Firefox and Safari and I see it in all three browsers.
