first thing to try is to Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

Make sure you have uninstalled any of these extensions:

*CSS Sculptor
*CSS Menu Writer
*Framework Builder
*PowerCMS Builder
*Pro Maps for Google
*Site Import
*Site Sculptor
*Social Media Toolkit

Then reinstall Design Extender. This error appears as thought is might occur if you don't uninstall PowerCMS Builder before installing Design Extender.

They should be the same. Uninstall all of the extensions already included in Design Extender and then reinstall Design Extender.
