shipping issue with USPS

can make custom shipping and it works. then tried just USPS and receive the following error.

"We're sorry

Your transaction could not be completed due to a problem occurring while calculating shipping."

any guidance would be appreciaed..

I have the same issue. My customers ahve tried to process an order and after entering all the CC info etc they click on the checkout button and they receive the shipping calculation error. I have tried it several times and I do not get an error. What is the issue? I need this fixed as soon as possible. I even had a customer get an error last night of max connections error and I spoke to my hosting provider and there are plenty of connections available and the database refreshes every hour. What is going on with the program? It is starting to get frustrating with all of the issues I am having especially after the money we spent on this program. Please help ASAP. I am losing customers and sales.
