Server Validation messeges disappears

Server Validation messeges disappears

I have a question concerning the option in FB to not include client side validation. In my userupdate form Ive tried to remove the client side validation and only keep server side validation. When choosing those options all the code for server side is removed too!? At least the error messeges when one submits the form without valid information. Am I doing something wrong or must one add new messeges using the Validation show if behaviour for all fields?

form builder is not really a tool for editing existing forms, it is a tool for creating forms.

you would be better of manually removing the client side validation code from the page than trying to use form builder to edit the form.

Jason, I built the forms for my login/logout/registration system now instead of using SA wizard. I know how to apply validation to formfields manually but my question was why the server validations dissappear along with the client validation messeges when choosing to only keep server validation in form builder interface? Its not that I don't know how to do it manually afterwards but because the validation potions are present in the form builder interface I wonder why this happens or if I do something wrong?

I see, This appears to be a bug in form builder, i have logged this in our bug base to have it corrected in a future update.

Thanks Jason! No worries! I don't mean to be picky but I was wondering if I was doing something wrong. Bugs are there to be exterminated so I'm sure this will be corrected in a future update!
