unable to get user update to work

Hi
I am having problem getting security assist user update page to work.
The log in , register , log out pages, are working OK , my problem is that when i CLICK on
user update page. the wizard puts a server behavior on the user update page called
(logged in to user ) witch i think is to log you in so it can get the Id to retrieve the data from database.
my problem is that when i log in it keeps sending me to Log in page in a never ending loop.

For testing purpose I start the update user page( right after the security assist wizard gets done building the pages ) on Firefox the first thing it come on is the log in page, I log in and then send me back with a login message ( You have been logged in )
i have try changing the sever behavior many different ways and no luck yet.
i have played with the redirect options but i have not being able to get it to work.

I read the manual a couple times, but i have not found direction how to set up the user update page once is build by the wizard.
can any body give me the a quick break down on how to set up user update page.

I have being working on this one for about 4 days so, is time to shout for some help ! !!

thanks

Joe

send a copy of the login page, the registration page and the webassist/security_assist/helpergrouprules.php files in a zip archive.

in the helpergrouprules.php file, change line 1-3:

php:
<?php

function WA_Auth_GetComparisonsForRule($ruleName){

to:

php:
<?php

@session_start();
function
WA_Auth_GetComparisonsForRule($ruleName){

if that does not fix the problem, we'll need to do some testing to find out the cause. the first test is to use the sessionTest file from the following thread to make sure session management is working on your server:
showpost.php?p=23826&postcount=2

if the session test fails, it is most likely the session.save_path setting in the php.ini file, you will need to contact the host to have them correct the problem.
