Site Impoer 304 on a DW CS4

Lately --- Site import has not been working with certain sites. It will come up with "Site Import complete" and usually Only one page is downloaded. Also there seem to be this yellow warning sign.

*** This is a new customer who wants me to copy her current website so I can begin administrating it for her --- including hosting it.

the navigation of the site is Flash based.

Site import cannot import flash based sites.

the way site import works is to import the browser source code for a page, then look for anchor tags to import the linked pages. it works basically as a site crawler, the same way a search engine would index your site.

Site import has the same limitations of a search engine site index spider when it comes to Flash and Javascript based sites.
