show regions

I'm having trouble with the security assist show region behaviors, this should be really basic stuff but all I want is when a user is logged in I want it to show their username and some links but when they are not logged in I want to show a 'welcome guest' message and different links.

I have tried the show region behaviours but all the links are showing regardless of whether a user is logged in.

Any help with this basic problem?

select the text you would like to show when the user is logged in and apply the Security Assist Show region behavior, select the "Logged into <Your User Table>" rule (where <Your User table> is the name of your users table).

use the "Not Logged into <Your User Table>" rule to display the welcome guest message.
