Doing a search based on checkboxes

Doing a search based on checkboxes

Hi there

I'm trying to filter a recordset using DataAssist Search. I have a text box for a search criteria and also three checkboxes. The results should contain the search box and at least one of the ticked checkboxes.

For example:

A record in the table has this info...

Title: Test Record
Option1: Ticked
Option2: Not Ticked
Option3: Ticked

Now, a search for 'rec' and ticking all three boxes SHOULD return this record.

A search for 'rec' and ticking just Option1 SHOULD return this record.

A search for 'rec' and ticking just Option2 SHOULD NOT return this record.

A search for 'reec' and ticking all three boxes SHOULD NOT return this record.

Hopefully this explains what I need to achieve. I've tried all sorts of combinations in the DataAssist Search options but I can't get it to follow this criteria.

Can you tell me where I'm going wrong?

Many thanks

Hi Jon

Can you post some screen shots of the WA screens to show how you have each search value configured?
