Options & shipping cost not written to database

I'm afraid that I cannot find any other threads with this issue?

I am just setting up the PowerStore 4.5 for the first time having upgraded from PS3

When I purchase an item I have the following problems:

• From Paypal, the emails include the options correctly but do not have the shipping and handling entered in the amount column. However, the total is correct.

• In the email from PS4 do not show any options, nor does it show any shipping cost and the total is incorrect as the shipping has not been added.
  
• when I go into the admin and look at the order there are no options or shipping amounts and the total is incorrect again without shipping added.

I have a test item in the store and I am going through the checkout as a real person (not test mode).
I am using PS4.5 and Paypal Standard, I am in Canada.

If anyone else is experiencing this same issue, please append to this thread.

Just in case others are experiencing similar issues. We did not resolve the Paypal Standard issue but simply switched the checkout to Paypal Express which *does* work just fine.
