More how to videos

It is the day of video. With great products like Adobes Captivate 5.5 it is so easy to make how to videos.

I make a couple a week for my clients and it saves me answering tons of questions. In fact I do it for almost all support request I get....not saying you guys have time for that. :)

To me WebAssist is like a Ferrari with a governor attached. While I can see such potential I just can not get it to run to it's full speed due to my lack of knowledge.

There are some things your extensions do that are made very easy and but the real power is untapped....for me at least.

No need for fancy, perfect or long videos just quick ones would do. I totally understand the marketing concept of feature videos but I need more knowledge. Nothing like the power of watching a video to see how to do something.

I would be glad to post a list of potential vids but I am sure you guys already know. Try to think of them as a designer and not a developer; That whole right side / left side of the brain type thing.

It would be a helpful way to sell more too. :)

or even links to customer made video tutorials, I would be happy to help fellow developers.
I use camtasia studio 7 to shoot tuts for clients, way cheaper than adobe products and works extremely well

We plan to make many more how to videos here in the future, and that governor on our Ferrari will be left in the dust. ( That was a terrible pun, I apologize ).

As for user made videos, we would love for you to share your videos with the community through the forum.

There are so many just simple things that would be so easy to make videos for. I am left perplexed why none are made.

I just lost a half hour of my life (that I will never get back) figuring out how to add page optimization in Power CMS Builder.

@skinny pixel... I agree 100%. I have been a long time customer and have seen this request come up soooooo many times but it seems to be falling on deaf ears. This lack of support request has made me start to look elsewhere for future needs.
As a site developer, I was constantly on the phone with clients explaining how to do this and that until I spent 1 afternoon shooting little how to video tutorials for most of my common questions for clients. They are much happier and I can focus on other projects. Seems like a no brainer to me.
And don't even get me started on this new method in the forums with no explanation of how to fix things, only the "we opened a ticket for this"....grrrrr
