Hi,
I am having a problem setting up an online form to display a requested location in google maps via the form entry, it would appear that in order to set this facility up I need to set up a testing server. I have tried to follow your instructions for doing this using xampp however your instructions seem to be considerably out of date in respect of the version of xampp and the steps to follow to configure it. For example there is no longer a dos box appears during installation where you advise parameters should be set.

As a result despite believing I have installed xampp and it showing apache and mysql services as running I am unable to even access the localhost page so am unable to progress any further.

Can someone please advise if there is a more up to date set of instruction to get the current version of xampp working in a windows 7 environment and then integrating it into dreamweaver and using it with google maps pro.

Thanks in advance.

the most up to date instructions for installing xampp will be on the xampp web site:
xampp-windows.html#522

I will let our documentation team know that the install instruction in the learning resources section need to be updated.
