paypal switches to usd + no database selected

Hi,
I post my problem here, as your paying support, which is supposed to be a "quick" one-to-one troubleshooting support, seems to be very little concerned by my problem.

I've got two problems:

1. php pages do not display

The sites works locally, but not online. For example in : www.sostenibilidad.net, when I want to click on a link that leads to a page (for example : conjunto.php, the page does not display. The error message is "no database selected"

2. Paypal asks for a payment in usd, while everything is configured in euros.
When I try to order products locally, everything works fine until the payment page, where paypal asks a payment in usd and not in euros.

The files may be too heavy, so I have uploaded them here: sostenibilidad.net/files.zip

1) the no database selected error message means that there is a problem in the database connection file.

before uploading to the live server, you need to create the database on your remote host, then update the database connection file to connect to the hosts my sql server.

2) What paypal method are you using? PayPal standard or PayPal payments Pro?

the database was created and the connection files are created by dreamweaver, under Connections. I am going to check that

The 1st problem is solved, apparently the difficulties come from the webhosting I use.

I've installed a page in a new testing domain (solidarite.fr) and that works.
The 2nd problem persists:

When I order a product in solidarite.fr/conjunto.php, the cart gives me the price in euros, but it switches to usd when I want to pay with paypal

on the confirm page, look for the following code:
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" id="currency_code" value="USD" />

and change it to:
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" id="currency_code" value="EUR" />
