Client Validation Problem

Thread began 11/28/2011 12:32 am by anonymous | Last modified 1/25/2012 7:00 am by Jason Byrnes | 848 views | 3 replies |

Client Validation Problem

I have scoured the boards and after uninstall and reinstall several times (and deleting the cache), I can't seem to figure this out.

When trying to use Client Validations, I get this error:

While executing onLoad in WAFV_Required_C.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

At line 14 of file "MacintoshHD:Users:<username>:Library:Application:Support:Adobe:DreamweaverCS5.5:en_USE:Configuration:Commands:WAFV_Required_C.js":isThisACommand is not defined

---- end ----

I remember there being a bug with client validation some time back but I thought this was fixed. I am using the latest build of Form Builder. Is there a support file that, perhaps, can fix this?

having the same problem

I'm having the same problem, but with the WAFV_Alphanumeric_C.js file, and I can't continue with validation wizard.

What can we do?

Do you have both CSS Form Builder 2 and Form Toolkit installed?

if so, uninstall them, then reinstall Form Toolkit first followed by form builder.

then Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
