Forgot Password Loop

Forgot Password Loop

No error messages and this seems to work fine up to a point but I get stuck in a loop after the email is sent. Sending a copy of the forgotpassword.php and the step below:

Thanks in advance!
Jared

I get to the forgotpassword.php page and enter a valid email address, the security info and submit. Works fine.

I receive the email just fine. Here is a sample link; I believe this should go back to the forgotpassword.php correct?
(forgotpassword.php?fp_id=36&fp_email=synectx%40hotmail.com&fp_data=inMjNvs2jlCJ.)

Clicking the link does take me back to the forgotpassword.php page; however rather than the region to create a new password coming up, I get the first region instead (forgot password fields).

I've just had a quick look at your code.

I think we need to know a little more about the rules you have configured for your "Show Region" code.

Cheers

how are the "Encrypted email return set" and "Encrypted email return success" access rules configured?

could be an issue with setting session variables.

Add the following code to the forgot password page just after the <body> tag to help troubleshoot:

php:
<pre><?php var_dump($_SESSION); ?></pre>

Sorry that this isn't making sense to me.

Here is what was returned after adding the troubleshooting code Jason:

array(4) {
["WAENCRYPTEDRETURNUSED"]=>
bool(false)
["WAENCRYPTEDRETURNSUCCESS"]=>
bool(false)
["random_answer"]=>
string(9) "wednesday"
["captcha_Security_Code"]=>
string(5) "WFwA6"
}

None of these are defined anymore (since updating the validation variables)
Encrypted email return success
Encrypted email return set
Not Encrypted email return success
Not Encrypted email return set

What is the default/typical rule?

-----------------------

Trying to create a new set of test security assist pages to see what the defaults are and when I click OK to start creating the pages (after I made my selections in the dialogs) I get a Dreamweaver error:

Error starting floater:
TypeError: MM.WA_createProcessingObjectV2 is not a function

I read another post with this same error and tried clearing the cache file to no avail. Did this several times going as far as rebooting my machine and deleting cache before and after.

Not a good day tater!
