Exporting for googlebase

Hi can anyone tell me if there is a way to generate a Excel sheet or something that googlebase will accept.

I have a client who wants to submit his products to googlebase through a excel file (Tab Deliminated) or something like that.

Can anyone point in right direction, exporting the product database from MySQL wont work as it needs to pull info from 2 tables and only include certain information.

Any advice would be a great help

thanks
Jamie

you say export from mySQL won't work as you need data from 2 tables, and only certain information.

Is it not possible to write a query to generate only the data you need ?

You should be able to write a query that joins the two tables (I am guessing products and options).
I have done this for a number of clients to import into google base. I usually export xml files though, as opposed to a csv.

You can use the MySQL GUI Tools Query browser.

In the Query Browser, you can create the join query to get the needed data and execute the query.

The go to File -> Export Result Set. There are options to export as a CSV or Xcell file as well as HTML, XML or PLIST files.
